Récit interactif, sens et réflexivité

Abstract : Interactive narrative is an experimental activity, whose writing and reading conventions are still being made up. By allowing the reader to act on the narrative, interactive narrative appears as a way of experimenting frontiers. In this era of experiments and questions, interactive narrative dwells upon itself and examines both its ideological frames and its technical functionalities in a specular way. The goal is to investigate both a new technical architecture and a means of organizing it as a sense-making frame. It’s in this context that are to be found some reflexive figures of interactivity : the displaying of the devices, of the author’s writing and of the reader’s interacting. These figures aim at reconciling interactivity and « narrativity ».
