Abstract

Main objectives Perform full waveform inversion of a newly provisioned multi-component full-azimuth OBN broadband dataset. Evaluate the results and make an assesment serving as baseline for future multi-parameter inversions under the elastic approximation and multi-component polarization-based inversions.
New aspects covered Pioneering work on a new dataset. Design and application of an FWI workflow to newly provisioned data from the Gorgon Field (North West Australia).
